Reading Intervention

At Trails, reading sessions involve engaging activities to improve children’s decoding and reading comprehension skills. The reading programs range from beginning reading to reading across the curriculum. The programs may be individualized or implemented in small groups.  Reading tasks and activities are formulated and adjusted according to the learners’ needs and skills.

We see children who exhibit:

  • Difficulties in identifying letter names and sounds
  • Concerns in reading words and sentences
  • Difficulties in following written instructions
  • Difficulties in answering comprehension questions after reading a text
